After many years of experience in Milan’s hospitality sector, Mario Loi opens his restaurant in Sardinia.
Mario’s dream, so as of many sardinians living away, is to return to his motherland, coming back home, bring to the island the experience gained over the years and cook those traditional dishes with a touch of innovation that is sometimes lacking in local restaurants. Together with his brother Leonardo, Mario took over a restaurant in Villasimius; what convinced the brothers was its amazing position: the restaurant has a beautiful panoramic terrace overlooking the Marina, and provides to the guests a spectacular view of the beautiful coves nearby. In fact, the restaurant is close to the (two) most fascinating beaches of the South-Eastern Coast: The Riso Beach and Porto Giunco. The name of the restaurant is the same as the one Mario and Leonardo managed in Milan for 18 years, a popular destination for tourists, locals and VIPs, the same guests who are now choosing “La Cala” in Villasimius for it’s wonderful location and the excellent food.

Our restaurant is located in the beautiful frame of the Villasimius Marina, of which its possible to enjoy a breathtaking view from its panoramic terrace.
